Øystein Sevåg og Lakki Patey - Visual 2

"Visual 2" is a new milestone in the long-standing, passionate collaboration between the Norwegian pianist Øystein Sevåg and guitarist Lakki Patey. This is the much-awaited sequel to the acclaimed album "Visual," named "Best Ambient Album of the Year” (1996) in the USA by Wind & Wire magazine.

Sevåg and Patey are musical pearl divers, inspired by European classical music, jazz, and Indian ragas. “Visual 2" delivers the same tranquil magic that has captivated their fans, with peaceful warmth, bearing the unmistakable signature of these two visionary artists. The new album continues the stripped-down concept of "Visual," but unlike its predecessor, it is an entirely acoustic album featuring only acoustic guitar and grand piano. Stylistically, the music incorporates significant improvisation, blending spontaneity with strict compositions. Like "Visual," the intention is for the album to be one long continuous journey for the listener.
