In 1976, the king of harmonica Tommy Reilly and his Norwegian star pupil Sigmund Groven recorded the LP Music For Two Harmonicas in London together with leading English musicians. Now, 50 years later, these legendary recordings are being released on CD and streaming platforms for the first time, along with a number of other previously unreleased tracks. Tommy Reilly passed away in 2000, while Sigmund Groven, who is soon turning 80, remains just as active, performing in concerts both in Norway and abroad. The repertoire on this release ranges from specially composed pieces dedicated to the two harmonica players to their own compositions, Irish folk tunes, and music by Beethoven!
