Øystein Sevåg - Pearl Collection

This album presents Øystein Sevåg’s own hand-picked selection of music from his first five albums (Close Your Eyes And See, Link, Visual, Global House, and Bridge), including the previously unreleased bonus track Forgiving. These works were created during the years when Sevåg lived and composed in an old wooden house by the Oslofjord in Stokke, from 1984 to 1999—a period that shaped both his music and artistic vision.
The release comes with a richly illustrated 26-page booklet, where Sevåg reflects on his collaborations with fellow musicians, the creative process behind each piece, and his deeper vision for creating music and the role of art in human life.
With 18 tracks and a total playing time of 77:40, this album offers a comprehensive journey through the formative years of one of Norway’s most distinctive musical voices.
