Håvard Svendsrud has, through a long and multifaceted career, established himself as one of Scandinavia’s leading accordion performers, in both classical music and folk music. In December 2025, he will release his fourth solo album featuring early classical repertoire. As with his previous classical solo albums, Classical Masters has been developed in close collaboration with producer Geir Inge Lotsberg. The new album includes works by Georg Friedrich Händel, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Joseph Haydn, Domenico Scarlatti and Carl Maria von Weber. The recording was made in Snarum Church in Modum and will be released on Svendsrud’s own label, Aksent.
